Timothy M. Stafford has over 35 years of musical performance and pedagogical experience with a wide range of musical styles and performances. He is comfortable playing drums with a rock band or jazz quartet, kicking a big band, adding congas to a contemporary set, sight reading a theatre performance, or playing mallets and tympani with the symphony.
He is well known for his work with Latin and African instruments as well as a live and session player, theatre pit performer, and clinician/educator. He is also often called to sight read and play "in a pinch " in various genres and situations.

He currently serves as a percussion adjudicator for the Florida Music Educators Association, a mallet and pit specialist for high schools, jazz band/rhythm section clinician, and an ongoing contract performer.
